Trading in 2009 Lancer GT for 2010 Mazda 3 Sports Hatchback?

Hello everybody,

I own a 8 month old 2009 MITS Lancer GT which I am planning to trade-in for 2010 Mazda 3 Sports Hatchback. I love the new mazda and looks are very impressive. Does anyone have experience trading in 8 month old car for a new one? Is it really worth doing? Guys..plz help me
 
You'll probably lose a ton of money trading in so soon. Doesn't matter if it's a Mitsubishi or a Lexus. New cars depreciate too fast in their first year. There is no way the payments can keep pace with the lose in value.

I'll guess that you are at least $3500 upside down between the value of the car as a trade in and what you owe the bank.
