I own a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi with a Flowmaster Exhaust and one of my neighbor's has a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7 IForce. He thinks that it can beat my truck by a longshot, in both take off and finish a 1/4 mile. Which would win, should I race? I don't want to blow the engine or anything but I have raced for several years before so I can drive well, same for him.

If your Hemi is stock, the Tundra's 5.7 will win. The Tundra's engine produces more horsepower and torque, plus it's six speed transmission shifts faster and smoother. Good luck and let us know how you did in the race. But again, if both cars are stock and both drivers with about the same driving talent, then I'd put my money on the Tundra. Also, I think your Ram weighs more than the Tundra.

If your Ram is like the one my daughter has, don't bet on the transmission holding up for a quarter mile under hi torque.
And with the Tundra's 430 gears and six speed automatic you are out classed.
