Toyota Tacoma fishtailing? How do I fix it?

Asked this earlier in a different section. Thanks for any help guys.

About the truck- 2006 Toyota Tacoma Rwd sr5 V4. Anyways the problem is that the truck is always fishtailing or letting rear end slide to one side when ever I am turning and applying a little gas. Its not bad when its dry but when its wet its terrible and with winter coming it will probably get even worse even with winter tires.

I think part of the problem is that it doesn't have anything like stability control or traction control and obviously a light rear end. Would something like a limited slip differential help at all in this situation (im not a gearhead).

The tires on it now are a cheap brand but the two back ones are 1 year old and all four don't look very worn. Would an aggressive all season tire be worth it? Also any tips on how to add weight in the winter?

When it comes down to it i just need to drive real slow when its wet out and snowy out but i mean the other day i only gave it like 2k rpm and was going about 40km/h on a curving on ramp and the whole back end fishtailed.

Thank you sincerely for any help!!!

its an auto. Wasn't giving it 2000 more rpm was just guessing that i pressed the gas to about 2000 rpm maybe less. The point is I didnt give it much gas was going fairly slow and a slight turn and it fishtailed. Hope that clears it up a little.

just to clear things up i am not a bad driver I have now and have had other trucks that were never a problem. I have to be really carful in this Tacoma while in my Silverado I bolt through corners and i doubt i have ever spun with that thing. And yes i used to have another tacoma 2002 and it was no problem either. Anyways I think it must be tires however i don't think they're that worn but i got the truck used and they came with so i never bought them.

Also i think that that one answer may be right around where i live there seems to be quite a bit of water sitting on the roads when it rains. hmm any recommendations on a good set of tires to get? Could i go with a bigger tire or wider? Thanks all

ok people its not a sharp turn most people would accelerate on this turn. In fact I always have people tailgating me on this turn and others because I slow down so the thing doesn't fish tail.
