Hi im from sydney Australia and recently just got my L's! (learners, am currently 16). Its still a lil early as i wont be on my P's till December(ill be 17 then) however both me & my dad are looking at cars for me. He has a paranoia that i might seriously hurt myself in a car that's too small &/or old. I love the show scene of cars. So i came to the conclusions that a non turbo fairly newer model toyota supra might be good idea for me. However im a little worried that the 3.0 litre engine might cause me to be a led foot and not even realize not too mention petrol prices. So what do you think? Should i look for something with a smaller engine?
PS: If it helps i only drive Auto and ill be doing things like lowering on king springs and putting Rims and a sound system in the car. Thanks in Advance.
feel free to suggest car makes and models to me. BUT please take into consideration that im from australia (some us models of cars dont exist over here) and i only drive automatic non turbo / v8 vehicles.

I can pick up an automatic with REASONABLE km's for like 12,000..ah well we dont have those mad eclipse thingys over here soo yeah.. and to the scond answer? i mean a sound system. So how is that gay? lol and iom not to concerned about speed mainly looks and that
