toyota sienna or honda odyssey...?

I think the sienna has a better resale value. Search the average prices of both of these from 5 years ago. That might be the deal breaker.
 
my wife and i are going to buy a minivan. we really like the new sienna, but the problem is the one we want costs $35k. the odyssey is the same price with the same features as the sienna. we have owned 4 camrys in the past. with all the ridiculous hype about the recalls toyota has, she is leery of them. on the other hand we haven't owned a honda. i work at a toyota dealer, but can't get my wife to shake the junk about the recalls. i can get a good deal for the odyssey (i know the gm). what do you think?
