Toyota recalls are media hype?

I read the posts about the Toyota recalls being media hype and the US Government trying to get people to buy GM,Ford, and Chrysler vehicles and have to laugh. Then the posts about people who actually believe these gas pedals are sticking because of the owners abusing their vehicles.Give me a break,Toyota has hidden this problem for over a year and had a former employee on the National Transportation Safety Board down play the problem. Then these people that post these responses say nothing about the 17 people(maybe more, exact number still unknown) who were killed by Toyota's negligence.
You want to talk about media hype, look at 1978 when 20/20 did a episode on the Ford Pinto rear end crash fires. They showed a Pinto being hit in the rear exploding into a fireball, but didn't tell the viewers there was a incinerator device in the vehicle. Then you have the 1980 episode by 60 Minutes on the Jeep CJ's flipping over.It showed a Jeep CJ flipping over but didn't tell the viewers that it took 435 test runs to get the vehicles to tip over 8 times. Also they had a robot turning the steering wheel at much faster rates then a actual person could turn the wheel.
Toyota is getting everything they deserve, they hid this problem plain and simple as that.If they would of took care of the problem when they discovered it they may have saved some lives,oh that's right it's the owners fault for abusing their vehicles.

GIVE ME A BREAK TOYOTA LOVERS
