Toyota Recall Issues?

How do you guys think all the recent recall issues associated with the toyota cars will affect the car in its future?Do you think it will be able to regain its position as the worldwide No.1 again?I used to be a big fan of toyotas and i still am even though im starting to lean a bit towards honda.All aswers are appreciated.
 
It's an exagerated story and an act of protectionism from America.

And I really think the lady who was reading a statemt in front of court about a dangerous situation in 2006 was mentally ill or lying and cheating for some reward. How a person can start to cry for a dangerous sitatuation which happened four years back and nobody died or hurt, what was there to be so emotional? I think some dollars from someone who is exagerating all the issue for own gains.
