Toyota RAV4 or a Hyundai Tucson?

I used to drive a Hyundai Accent... the quality of the car wasn't so great. The seats weren't too comfortable and I know it's a cheap car. But I love the 10 year warranty and the warranties that are offered. Also I love the customer service.

However, I was wondering if anybody has either a RAV4 or a Tucson.. and what your opinions are on both. My main concern is mpg, cost and warranty.

Thank you for any help

I would go with the Tuscon. We have owned one since early 2006 and never have had a problem with it. The only thing I am not fond of is it uses more gas than needed for a small 6 cylinder engine. We used to own a Toyota RAV 4 but we wanted a 6 cylinder which the Toyota could not offer us. In all honesty, I find the ride in the Tucson much smoother and less noisey than in the 2003 Toyota RAV 4 we had before it. The fit and finish of the Tucson is second to none in the small SUV category, not even the Honda CRV could come close in fit and finish.

If you want a great performing SUV and also save about $ 3000 in the process and have a warrantee still in 4 years time then go for the Tucson, you won't be dissappointed. Oh yeah one more thing. The Tucson will not be worth as much in value in 5 years time as the Toyota Rav 4 though. I feel this is a small price to pay though for a far superior vehicle in the Tucson though.

Good luck
