Toyota Rav4 2004 model alarm problems?

I bought a toyota rav4 2004 model and found out that it doesn't have any auto lock if the speed went over 20 and if the door is not closed it will not alarm (I think it doesn't even have an alarm) is it really like this? Or is there something wrong with my car?
 
if you lock or open the door by using of remote then system is already installed ,otherwise you can install the new , may some wiring /connection problem you can check
