Toyota Prius mpg?

I understand that many proud Prius owners want to make their car look good. But I am looking for an honest answer. I would be driving city (80%) highway (20%), with stop-and-go. During hot summer (90-100 degrees with a/c) and very cold winters. What average mpg can I expect. Is 40mpg reasonable to expect?
 
We get about 45 mpg during the cooler months and more like 40 in the summer with the AC going.

Had the car since January.
