im taking drivers ed this summer and i need a car (im 14) and ive been looking around for a car and originally i was going to get a Ford Excursion but then i saw an interview with miley cyrus and she was talking about how good toyota prius's are for the environment and how they get really good gas mileage and the excursion i was getting got about 8MPG and the prius gets about 55MPG and i found a 2004 toyota prius for $10500 do you think thats a good deal? do you think my parents would get it for me?

Quit worrying about what some famous person says, and don't spend that much on your first car. Chances are you'll beat it up quite a bit. A used civic is a great investment, and there's so many parts out there for it, it shouldn't ever be expensive to upkeep. And they get good gas mileage also. Also, insurance will be higher on newer cars, as they're more expensive to repair. When you're ready to get a car, test drive a lot of them. Find something that you feel extremely comfortable in, and can see out of well. No sense buying a car if it doesn't fit.

that looks like a great deal to me.
it depends on what condition it is in and if you need to do any hauling of things like bikes boxes ect.

id goto KBB.com and look up the car
click on "search by: year, make, and model"
then fill in all the information given.
you can find a general starting price for almost any car here.
you should always try to get a lower price that this site says too.
good luck!
