toyota pickup (1991) with a 3.0L efi V-6 (3VE-Z model) is this eingine prone to oil

sludge? i know the 3.0L in toyota cars are. like the toyota avalon. but is this the same eingine or is this a diffrent eingine. i know toyota didnt make very many 3.0L trucks. should i be concerned about sludge in this particular motor?? or am i being misinformed???
