what is the alignment between TDC No#1 compression stroke and the key on the crankshaft for the alternator belt pulley. Pls show me a discernable picture-the cranks' timing pulley has uneven holes, just knowing where the gap goes will do. Good Picture essential.
Will try a water manometer down the glow plug hole, sealed with a little mastic at the head. Should work fine-just don't have any drawn into the motor-a trap is a good idea. should get me very close to TDC. Then I can work out whether I've bent anything.
Injector pump was abt 90 degrees late of cam on their pulleys crank cam orientation unknown ATM. Crank could be 180 deg adv/retarded of TDC No#1. Motor did fire with Aerostart-but would not keep running. sounded flat/retarded/rich at exhaust.
