This car has 180.000 on the clock (kilometres) have always been told that "hilux... indestructible; your car will live forever" but will it?
i definitely havent had and problems with the engine for the 2 years i have owned it, just the crap around the engine going haywire ( fuel pump, carby, carbon filter clogged) other then that it drives like a tank
my question mainly comes down to what things i should look out for seeing as it has pretty much reached its half way k's?
also ive been told that you should only use Toytota coolant for toyota cars because it does not eat away the rubber seals. Does this apply for older model cars before their tests?
i HAVE noticed that the back of my engine does have oil dampness at the head gasket ; which is #4 cylinder.
but this has never given any signs to low oil so would it be worth repairing in future?
