Toyota highlander had timing belt replaced at 95,000 miles. Check engin light...

...keeps coming on now, third time? third time back to repair shop, now they say the only thing to do is put in another part to stop this from happening. The diagnostic didn't show anything wrong.
the SCV (stabalizer ?) symble comes on too. This all happened only after timing belt replaced. It does stay on all the time now.
Not dealer but very respected repar co. I'll ask him Fri. to check the air box...thanks
 
was it done at a toyota dealer? if the light came on right after they did the timing belt, then they messed something up. they might have missed the timing by a tooth or so, or left something disconnected. do me a favor: please check the air box where your air filter is located. there is a vacuum rubber hose that goes to that box that gets disconnected by mistake all the time.
