The head gasket failed on my 1994 toyota pickup.I was told (over the phone) that somehow the head (internally) corroded, which allowed water to go into one of the cylinders. The head did not crack, it corroded.

Could the last shop (the one where I pissed off the service manager) done something to (purposely) make it fail.

If yes, what?

At the last shop that I went, (long story short) I pissed off the service manager. After about the third time them putting the same (shitty off brand) radiator, I demanded that they put in different brand name.I made them honor it two months after the 1 year warranty was expired.

Sounds like you're the typical ass customer.

Honoring a warranty 2 months after it expires? Come on, don't be a prick.

The short answer, is yes, they could have done something to make it fail prematurely.

You will never be able to prove it.

Especially not on a 15 year old truck that you've already had to do other work to.
