when I lock/unlock the door on the driver side of the car, it's suppose to lock/unlock all the doors on the car. But when i do it, it only works for the driver side. I even tried turning the key twice for i know some cars require you to do it twice.
when I use the key on the passenger side on the other hand, it works perfectly fine, as in it locks/unlocks all 4 doors.
also when I lock the doors on the passenger side, this arms the factory alarm system (and a red light appears on the dash, indicating the alarm is armed).
This, however, doesnt work on the driver side. And when I attempt to unlock the door on the driver's side when the security light is on, the car's alarm goes off...
this leads me to think that there's something wrong with the wiring, where the driver's side locking system doesn't send a signal to open the rest of the doors and doesn't disarm the car's alarm system.
Can you give me step by step instructions on how to approach this problem and fix it?
Thank you, I appreciate it
