economy standards(CAFE)? Thoughts? Although Toyota created a "green image" by creating the Prius hybrid model, in 2007 it joined other auto companies in lobbying against efforts in the U.S. Congress to aggressively increase fuel economy standards (CAFE). This was conflicting and cause environmental groups to began protesting. Was toyota wrong? Would you feel betrayed if you were a Prius owner? What would your thoughts be if you were a gas-guzzling Tundra driver? This has nothing to do with the recent recalls.
