Which one is cheaper to maintain? Cheaper on labor and parts? Need to drop the fuel tank in order to change the fuel filter on any of those cars? Spark plugs accessible? Timing belt easy to reach? Interference engine? Which one is better? Thank you.

They're so similar in quality and maintenance, it's like Pepsi vs. Coke. I'd say which ever one you can get a better deal with.

depends on the car, all imports are basically the same design wise... small, compact and sometimes a pain in the a*s to work on. older cars are easier to work on because there are less electronics/sensors ect

Fuel filter? More and more there is no fuel filter on new cars. Spark plugs? Most newer cars go 100,000 miles before recommended replacement. Timing belt should be done on time and by the pros, they got the factory training to get it done right, often with those special dealer only tools. My choice, tho, is Civic. Holds its' value better.
