Toyota corolla... bent wing mirror !?

mirrors are cheap, anyways ebay has them for every car, for like under 20 bucks, if you have the ins. them have em cover it, once they are broke they are like this....it is what it is....door panels come off easily, than one thinks, i can change out a mirror on any car or truck in 20 mins
 
Some idiot bent the wing mirror on my car straight back last night. I've tried to pull it forward but it will take a lot of force and i was concerned that i might end up doing more damage.

Has this happened to anybody before? Do i need to take it to a garage, or will it withstand the force if i yank it forward?
