Toyota Corolla 2007 Stereo/Cd changer Removal?

I have the stereo version with a built in 6-CD changer in the dash. I want to install my own after market stereo from my old car, is it easy to remove the 6-CD changer? or do i even have to do it at all? please someone let me know because all I've been able to find is stereo removal guides with no mention of the CD changer
