Toyota Corolla 2001 1.4 Jerking?

I have a 1.4 16v VVT-i Corolla that jerks under acceleration only when its cold. Its really violent and when it happens the engine revs do not increase. It only occurs when the engine is completely cold after 2-3 mins it is fine. The EML light used to be on and the code reader read the code P0134 and P0135 which is 02 sensor 1 no activity detected and 02 sensor 1 heater element fault. I changed the sensor and cleared all data but problems still occurs. The fuel is good ignition system is good and there are no air leaks. Could someone please help, any suggestions welcome. Thanks.
 
2 or 3 minutes is really not very long to wait to let it warm up a bit. But, you may want
to check the condition of that heater element closely.
