so im getting a 2004 toyota celica gts as my first car and im wondering how much my insurance will go up just by having this kind of car and being a teenage male? also what color is best, i cant decide between silver or black. i love black cars but i think the celica looks great in silver too. are black cars really a pain to have to clean all the time and which would look best? and does anyone know if they are well built cars

Wow! A Celica! You've made a good pick! Toyotas are very reliable and last a lot longer than american made cars. I'm on my 6th one. I have three Camry's and had a fourth until it was totaled. I also had two corollas. I put a little over 150,000 miles on one until I sold it.
Unfortunately, your insurance will go up for two reasons. You are less than 25 years old and you are driving (or will be driving) a sports car.
Be careful with the Celica. Cops like to watch out for these vehicles so they can give out speeding tickets. It's one of the fastest sports cars on the road today.
I have a friend who had a Celica and I drove it quite a bit as it was part of his office vehicles. It 'flew' and was never a problem mechanically. The car had over 100,000 miles on it until it was stolen!
I personally like the silver model becuse that's what the color of my friends vehicle was, but you can get the black.

Get it in Silver.
Red cars are known to get the most ticket of any other color, black is second.
Insurance companies will charge you more if it's black and even more if it's red..
They are ok, but if you hit anything to where the undercarriage has to be straiten, just get rid of it, because it will never be the same again.

Two extremely important things!Get it in black that way it'll look super sexy with tinted windows (especially with a red under tint!!!!) and secondly, get it manually cause only real men know how to drive stick! Then swing by and pick me up for a date! Say 8 o'clock?
