Hi I have a toyota 2001 4 cylinder 2.2 and it has 101k on it and I'm thinking of doing a belt and water pump replacement. I saw the whole kit including water pump online from various site costing 120-250. I really want to put in 100% oem toyota products versus aftermarket, so a friend of mine quote me $195 for the whole kit that he said he get employee discount off toyota. My only question is how will I be able to tell if its really toyota parts or aftermarket. Are there specific parts number/name/brand marking on the products? Also what other things should I look into changing at this state. Thank you so much and I know yahoo answers is always the place to go for help
I understand the box will have logo, But any chance you know the oem part number for the expensive part like the waterpump or w/e. I found this ebay for $220 what you guys think (after market):
