C Country Boy New member Dec 8, 2009 #2 The fuel float is in the fuel tank right beside the electric fuel pump. You may get lucky and find that the fuel read-out gage on the dash is malfunctioning. In any event your very high priced Toyota dealer can tell you which is causing the problem.
