This morning I wrecked my 1994 Camry. The brakes didn't work as I approached a stop sign. I'd heard of recent Toyota brake failure in post 2000 models, but never one this old. Then, I heard of a '91 and a '96 having brake failures. Anyone else have this experience or have any insight?
The car certainly does not have drum brakes, and I'm waiting to hear back on whether the break lines and pads were ok. The pads should be fine, as they were replaced last year. The thing that concerns me is that my emergency brake failed simultaneously. Neither would stop the car. Maybe someone's trying to kill me.
