Saw it on Wednesday and the screening was absolutely packed with all adults! I haven't seen the first film for a few years, and I'd forgotten quite how good it is. Such a tight script.
A really good experience, actually, seeing it again on the big screen. And the 3D was done really well too, particularly for a film that wasn't designed like that originally.
I suppose people need to understand that there's a difference between the type of 3D films we're talking about here, and more gimmick-based ones like The Final Destination and My Bloody Valentine. For example, the 3D in Coraline is really impressive, but it's more about the depth of field and certain parts of the foreground looking like they're in front of the screen.
Isn't the second one being re-released at cinemas in January?
