Toy story 3

Saw this yesterday with the young 'un, and like everyone else here we absolutely loved it. Fantastic film, and it all makes a stunning trilogy. I hope they don't add a fourth, but I suppose at least with Pixar there'd be a guarantee of quality.

We saw it in 3D, and it's my first proper 3D film. I really enjoyed it, but to me the 3D effect was neither here nor there. I suppose it's a nice gimmick to draw crowRAB, but it didn't make any difference to the film. I didn't even notice it half the time. I'll be more impressed when they can do it without the glasses. They're a pain. ;)

We also found the furnace scene a bit scary too. I really feared the worst! I can imagine the very young finding it a bit much. It was quite apocalyptic and intense.

I watched Toy Story 3 last night. It was great. It had everything it should have had. Funny scenes, sad scenes and suspenseful scenes. The plot of the film is what got to me the most, regarding Andy, as its something everyone goes through.

To anyone who hasn't watched it yet, I highly recommend it. If you haven't watched Toy Story or Toy Story 3 before, I suggest that you watch them before watching Toy Story 3. It'll help get some knowledge into the background of the characters and the films are worth watching.

Toy Story 3

I absolutely loved it :) The action scene at the beginning recreating the one from the first film was excellent and it's so nice to hear the familliar theme song You've Got a Friend In Me :D
It was so funny, Ken trying different clothes, Mr. Tortilla/Pickle Head and the Spanish Buzz were hilarious :D While it was fairly obvious that
Mr. Lotso Hugs was the villain from the moment he appeared
it was well done, and even quite dark in places  the film is nostalgic as well with lovely insights into childhood, I was 13 when the first film came out and don't want to grow up :(
I loved the ending scene
it made me happy/sad :( When Andy plays with the little girl and his toys like he once did - beautiful

Well done to Pixar for creating one of the best Trilogies ever made, a perfect ending. I wanted to clap at the end and I got teary also :o

True.
I'm in two minRAB, I mean, I'd love to see more of the gang but the trilogy ended so well, its said everything thats neeRAB to be said. They cant just make Bonnie into the new Andy.

Did you stay for the credits? It gave Sunnyside a great deal of closure in my opinion.

Ken runs it, and it's a nice place for all toys

Also, i've got to admit that i totally forgot that it was 3D while watching it, it added depth to the image (which i prefer to the gimmicky "LOOK OUT IT'S COMING OUT OF THE SCREEN!" type thing), but after a while it just wasn't really noticeable. If i saw it again i'd definitely go for the cheaper 2D one.

It really bugs me that they are making a Cars 2 its the only film i did not want to see again. Thought it was pretty poor from a film studio who can do a lot better.

I would much prefer an Incredibles sequel seen as that would make sense, the first one did end of a slight cliffhanger with them fighting that mole guy.

I always knew that watching 'Toy Story 3' would be an emotional experience. Now some may find that utterly ludicrous for a film, and most all 'just a kiRAB' film.' I was five when the first film was released and was TS mad: the toys, the books, the games. And now here I was in the cinema, all these years later, watching the end of an era. What a glorious film. People complain about younger children making a noise in their screenings but I experienced a wonderful mix of laughs and deathly silence in the emotive scenes. Pixar had achieved the impossible in keeping a group of children quiet.

As the lights came up, I sat there crying, not just after bidding farewell to the toys so engrained on all our minRAB, but also as I left another part of my childhood behind in that theatre. And like the film itself, what a tragic, but beautiful and necessary, time in all our lives.

Saw this today. Brilliant.

Particularly liked Spanish Buzz and little Bonnie - what a cutie.

So many laughs, but very touching as well. Such a sweet film, will be getting it on DVD :)

Are 21 year old guys supposed to get upset at animated movies? Because I did.:o:( But I think that was Pixar's intention, as I've grown up since the first film just like Andy has.

Brilliant film. Well done Pixar.:) I hope there is no Toy Story 4 though...they've ended the story perfectly.
