Toy Story 3 or Shrek 4: Which are you more excited about?

I'm more excited for Toy Story 3.
First two Shreck films were ok, third one I laughed a bit but not as much as the other two. What are you excited for the most?
 
I really want to see Toy Story 3, but I'll be in Japan when it comes out and probably won't be back before it leaves theaters.

(Yes I know that there are theaters in Japan, but why spend part of a unique experience in a movie theater? ;))
 
I think the vast majority of fans are looking more forward to Toy Story 3, myself included. Let's face it, the Toy Story movies have a near-flawless track record, while Shrek...well, doesn't.

Still wanna see both, though.
 
I'm much more excited for Toy Story 3 as well. The Toy Story movies have been two of my personal favorite Pixar films, so I'm sure that I'll have a fun time watching the third installment in theaters. As for Shrek, I've only seen the first film, but it didn't leave a great impression. It was okay, but I wasn't really interested in seeing any of the sequels after that.
 
Toy Story 3 for sure because both Toy Story films are amazing and they're my favorite Pixar films. I couldn't care less about Shrek 4 and I probably won't even go see it unless I hear a world of good about it, and I doubt that'll happen.
 
I still haven't seen Toy Story 2 yet, believe it or not, so I'm neutral about Toy Story 3.

Shrek 4 I can definitely wait for. I enjoyed the original Shrek, but then the sequels came and the franchise quickly became saturated; in short order Shrek became the very thing the original movie set out to parody: a synthetic, assembly-line produced cash cow for selling products. I saw Shrek 2 (which was lacking compared to 1, but still OK) and Shrek the Third left a bad taste in my mouth that I still haven't recovered from, so I can wait for 4.
 
I am much more excited for Toy Story 3 mainly because I enjoyed the first two films and there has not been a new Toy Story movies in many, many years and I have never been much of a fan of the Shreck franchise. I just hope that Toy Story 3 delivers and can hold par with the previous two films in the series, I think it will be fun but for some reason I have the strange feeling that the emotional connection just wont be there like it was 12-15 years ago.
 
Well I want to see Toy Story 3 more than any other film this year and don't want to see Shrek Forever After or The Final Chapter or whatever it's called at all... so Toy Story.
 
I'm more excited for Toy Story 3. I didn't think Shrek the Third was as bad as other people thought but it was a disappointment( 2007 was the summer of underwhelming trilogy entries after all ) and in the last 9 years we've had 4 Shrek movies while Toy Story 2 came out 11 years ago:eek:. Also I enjoy Toy Story movies more and it just seems like there's more hype for it, every day I see some new oy Story stuff but Shrek 4 seems just a tad under the radar when compared to other blockbusters this summer.

Anyways, Even though I actually liked the third Shrek, Toy Story 3 by a mile. I probably won't even see Shrek 4 in the theater. It's done. And done. And DONE. :shrug:
 
I'd almost recommend against it, Japanese theaters are more expensive then American ones, but I guess it depends on the theater and it's location. However, go check out the theater's gift shop, they got some cool stuff there.
