Toy Car Simple machine Wheel and axle?

Me and my partner built this toy car as a simple machine project for science its this wooden car thats like 5 inches and it has wheels with an axle going through, how does this car help make easier i have to choose from these two things, it helps make the distance shorter, the force applied on it. So basically how does this car help increase the distance or something like that
