I took the bike in for the recall on the fuel tank and mentioned about a noise coming from the front. The service tech told me I have a cupped tire. Is going to replace the tire next week for me. Will let you know when it is all done. THanks for all of you that post this for me. Saved me some fun $$$$.

One dealership I took it to played like they didn't know anything about the tire issue and said they would look into it and call me. That was 6 weeks ago and they still havent called. I took it to another dealer in the area and was told that if it was bothering me that it would be replaced at no cost, and they did. It did not cost me a dime. Lesson here is try another dealer if you don't get satisfaction at the first one.

I can tell you that Gator HD in Leesburg FL bends over backwards to ensure thier customers are happy. They squared my tire issue away with almost 12,000 miles on it, no questions.

I took my Road King Classic in for the 10,000 mile service. The dealer noticed the tire issue and called me telling me that he was putting on a new tire. No cost to me. I am very happy with the service at Buddy Stubbs in Phoenix.

Didn't get a letter. Did go to the dealer who stated that this was NOT a warranty issue. Did show the bulletin and informed in very clear terms that I fully expected the front tire to be replaced and they saw the light...

Dealer replaced mine at the 5k service and changed out the rear caliper due to it seeping. I did not complain and could barely see the moisture from the seep on the rear caliper. They also informed me that as soon as they get parts in for the tank they will call me for the fix. Germans are sticklers for everything, and it is good.

Just had mine replaced at Cox HD in ROck Hill SC. Mentioned to the service writer that I was hearing road noise and felt vibration and that it didn't ride as well. They replaced it with no further discussion. Never got the letter on the tire but did on the tank fix. They were out of parts to do it but put me on a list to fix when the parts came in. Good folks if you are in the Charlotte NC ROck Hill SC area.

I never recieved a letter, and it sounds to me that harley is not sending any out. I went to one dealer and they acted like they did not know anything about it. After researching it the shop in mankato mn. said yes it needs to be replaced. They put it on a few days later and did the tank recall also. If the tire has more than 3/32nds left they are replacing it for free. If less the bike owner is half or full responsible. If this applies to youre bike you should get it in. I have an 09 road king classic. If you have the 407D dunlop that is the bad one. They replaced it with a newer 408. Hope this helps.

Got my front tire and one front rotor replaced under warranty @ 9500 miles.
I had a gash in my rear tire and got it replaced under the extended warranty with the wheel & tire option.

I received the tank recall letter, also had front end wobble problems, took it in they did the tank repair and replaced the front tire. Painless.
