Tour Pak question

Will the new backrest pads fit the older Tour Paks? I'm looking at (to purchase) a King Tour Pak thats at least 25 years old with no pad and was wondering if a new StreetGlide Backrest Pad wil work on it. Also how about the hardware? I have the rack and mount.

The description indicates for 97 and newer.

Need to see a picture of what you have do to its age. If the tour pak lid is shaped like the current version, a '97 and newer backrest should work, though you'll need to drill new, lower (about 1/2") holes for the backrest to fit as intended--at least that's what I did with a '93 tour pak using an '06 comfort stitch two-piece backrest.
