Star A is a main sequence star of spectral type F2 and star B is a white dwarf of spectral type B4. Which statement below is correct?

Please explain the correct answer, that would be really helpful

Star A is hotter and more luminous than star B.
Star B is hotter and more luminous than star A.
Star A is hotter and less luminous than star B.
Star B is hotter and less luminous than star A.
None of the above can be said about these two stars.

Star A is definitely hotter, but luminosity depends upon distance. Star B could be right next door while star A is a billion light years away; Star B would definitely be more luminous in this case. The last statement is the only real answer
