I don't know when it'll arrive in North America, however it might be distributed in direct-to-video instead of movie theaters

A fair bet given that the show isn't currently broadcast in the U.S. and the track record of recent non-Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks releases. I just hope it becomes available at all.
Probably since CN hasn't shown it for a few years. There's a fifth season and the girls have graduated high school and attend a local community college. It's unknown if it will ever be available here at the moment. There appears to be a spin-off series called The Amazing Spiez featuring a group of 4 tween would-be spies. Apparently, the original spies (Alex, Clover, and Sam) will make appearances from time to time.

I hope the movie does really well in Europe.:) I've seen the trailers and the movie looks fantastic!!!:D I can only hope it comes to Canada and then America in the near future.:(

Not to mention, the rest of the series.:crying:

Everybody, I've been a huge fan of Totally Spies since it started back in 2001, and I ALWAYS will be!!! I think it's a totally hilarious show!:anime:

When the show started it was a very fresh concept and perked my interest immediately. While I wish there had been more character development and less repetition in the show, I'd love to see it (and the movie, btw) again and I too will always be a fan.

I actually dont know how it DIDN'T do well.

This is one of those series that flowed very well.

It's writing was REALLY good.

I'm not usually fans of these kinds of series, but credit due where credit is earned and I cant deny how well done it was.

I hope a push with the movie might respark the series on some network here in the US.

I forgot this series even existed, much less was still around.

I remember watching it before on some channel, and all I remember was seeing an episode where one of them freaked out over having a gray hair or something.

I didn't even know it was French. Huh.

I use to love this show to. Even though I still think TS is a nice show the powerpuff girls has took it's place as my favorite show. There's a chace that the movie might come to the U.S. Marathon is still releasing new TS games and stuff. But I can't get excited for the movie because I am not into TS anymore.

Well here's the translation of the first linkL: (The guy who gives it 3 of 4 stars):

Sam, Clover and Alex, three secondary school students, meet in the smart quarter of Beverly Hills, in Los angeles, by neutralizing a huge sushi sent by the secret organization Whoop which wants to recruit them. The three teenagers accept and are going to become international spies ?

Our opinion. Good surprise that this French cartoon for children, and especially the small girls, adaptation to the big screen of a successful series (on FRENCH TELEVISION 1).

On the cloth
The trailer
Rooms and sessions

History is rather tied up well and rebounds permanently, to the rhythm of the adventures of a trio of heroines they make think of the ? Odd ladies ? who have a tremendous punch. But the good idea of the producers, it is to have entrusted to the couturier Karl Lagerfeld the voice of mediocre Fabu.

French cartoon of Pascal Garden, with voices of Karl Lagerfeld, Fily Keita, Clear Guyot pear, C?line Mauge. Length: 1 hour 15 minutes (75 minutes).

Now as for my thoughts on this matter:

I've seen the series, and in fact it's interesting to note that even after 8 long years and 5 seasons of the show, it still has legs. It would be interesting to see another show (Kim Possible) take the same road and have Kim and Ron do College like Sam, Clover and Alex did. But then again you have to deal with the "Disney Factor" and knowing that Disney will never do a fifth season of Kim Possible due to the fact that now they are dealing with Live action shows too much

But then you got the French Animation Studio, Marathon, who has taken this show (Totally Spies!) and run with it to the point of making a full length animated movie. Also you have to realize that Marathon has even spun off the show with The Amazing Spiez and have brought the same characters from Totally Spies! and used them quite well

Now if CN hadn't dumped the series (Totally Spies!) I think the series would still be in production and there would be a sixth, seventh, and even eighth season which would put this series all the way through college. Can you imagine a series where Sam, Clover and Alex would have to deal with "Real Life" situations?

On second thought, scratch that..I think Marathon has finally milked this series to it's max and you can't go any further.

But that's my thoughts on this.

:coyote:

When CN first picked the show up it really did quite well for a time on the network. I think they reran the eps they had at the time a bit too much and the ratings dipped. I think that ever since the failure of the Miguzi block to get ratings, CN will be hesitant to run shows aimed at girls. Still, I'd be willing to bet that if they begain airing TS again (focusing on the latter part of Season 4 and Season 5), it would get good ratings for at least a while.

The show still airs on Teletoon. Got both both highs and lows, its a bit inconsistant. I think it works fairly well and I find the girls all likeable in their own way, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite out of the three... and Jerry is always made of win. I'm glad he'll be around in Spiez to mentor the Clark siblings.

The last new episode I saw had Jerry assign Britney to work with the girls after she got her brain hijacked by virtual super criminals...but I didn't see any other episodes that included her at Mali U so I guess that was the last one Teletoon got? It would have changed the dynamic a little bit (though the team is balanced enough as it is)

The animation in that movie looks pretty good! Though an origin story? Heh... very Powerpuff-y of a movie.

That episode was neat! They should have made it a more epic two parter though. The Marathon multi-parters are always great (especially the Martin Mystery ones) and it would have been a good opportunity to get more MM characters in (Java, Diana and Billy!!). And Alex and Martin could have been a couple for more than 15 seconds . Poor guy can't catch a break...
