I am so new here, and I dont know exactly what to look for in a search. My ? is i want to buy another phone other than what cricket offers. Now i know i can, but not sure what ones can be converted for cricket service, and what all do i need to buy to do this conversion for whatever phone i do buy? I know nothing about all this software stuff and what not. Maybe some one can provide me with some info.
 
first look for the phone you want. for cricket you can use cdma phones. try looking for verizon phones or sprint or alltel. just anything cdma. reply back when u find a phone
 
i was going to use a virgin mobile,VOX 8610 or the oyster since will be for work anyway and i dont wanna spend a lot on a phone that is gonna be damaged no question cause of my job.
 
This thread can be deleted, impatience got the best of me and i bought the Oystr and paid some one to flash it for me. If some one had info, PM me the info, my girl might be wanting to get a new phone and flash it, the Vox 8610.
