I know!! I didn't think that Joke Was sexist AT all !! it's all the stupid media making small things big and stuffs.

I think your last sentence hits the nail on the head.
The media are running out of control,any silly remark, or gesture by someone in the lime light, immediately gets head lines, purely ,I assume to fill up the pages with the rest of the rubbish already printed.
What is wrong if a man of what ever age wants attractive candidates? Its just manly wishful thinking.Hardly head lines.
 
So a 63 years old Tory party administrator made a joke about female candidates and how attractive/unattractive they were likely to be. The press have jumped on the bandwagon, a senior Tory has re-affirmed the parties stance as "the most qualified for the job is chosen"
When does all this rubbish end ? Are we in such a sorry state that no one can make even half a joke any more ? AND why oh why does this make headline news when our soldiers are still being blown to bits in Afghanistan. The media in this country are the absolute lowest of the low !
 
It's the silly season and the medi are short of real news so they run silly stories like this. The idea of selecting an attractive female candidate for say a marginal Labour seat is not a silly one. Would you vote for a woman with a face like the back of a bus? OK maybe you would but an awful lot would not.
He should be thrown to the lions for telling an obvious truth
 
When there is no news the pathetic media have to make something out of nothing to fill their papers pages rubbish usually services . With IT now becoming so easy we soon will not need them and they can be put into the dustbin of history along with their muck raking college's
 
I totally agree with you. All this pc nonsense has got completely out of hand, time a stop was put to it. The papers must be very short of news is all I can say, pathetic lot.
