Just got back from UCI tonight, and i have to say this was a very poor film.

There was lots of action, although i thought it was too far fetched (the train scene, and the final chase at the end) It brought back memories of Driven (i.e. far fethced action)

I have only seen the ad but I have to say it looks like total rubbish. Thanks for your review I will make sure I avoid this one.

Have actually seen the film and it is harmless, popcorn fun not to be taken at all seriously. There is very little story but stacks of boys, girls and motorbikes.

I have a UGC Unlimited Card, so I couldn't care less anyway but I enjoyed it.

It was enjoyable. Plenty of beautiful woman, fast cars, good action. There was a plot, but didn't really stand out. It had some nice scenes. At the beginning I did indeed think 'dear God, this will be bad' .. But, I sat through it, and enjoyed.

I've seen much better this month, though.

Sean.

Haven't we all? I have seen Cold Mountain, 21 Grams, Touching The Void and stack of other films. But Torque was good of a type too. The danger with an attitude like that is that we all get worthy but dull films. And we wouldn't want that, would we?

He he, I haven't laughed this much for ages! Once you get passed the notion that the film takes itself seriously it turns into a very silly 'western on bikes' film.

Completely stupid, daft sound effects, totally unbeliveable, corny acting, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Well, it starts of poor and then as soon as the credits begin (about 4 - 5 mins in) it just gets worse........

Complete waste of money.

I havent seen Torque, even though it does star a fellow Kiwi,Martin Henderson,i used to watch the very first T.V. show he was on called shortland street,so i hope it was better than that was.
If you like bike movies with a bit of realism in them, dont watch Torque, but DO watch a movie called Biker Boyz. Its got Mr.Fishburne hisself in it and basically its The Fast and the Furious on bikes, its a cool movie!
