Torn rotator cuff and handle Bars

I have the Heritage style bar and according to the HD catalog they are a 12 inch rise.

If the high is a problem, before you do anything else you may want to try rotating the bars towards you. Less reach, less height, bent elbows, takes the pressure of your shoulders.

if your not using one you may also want to consider a riders back rest. The back rest will support your body weight and take some load off your arms keeping your body upright.

I just had my surgery 2 months ago and feel issues with stock RK bars. I'm 6'4" and have pretty long arms. I ended up buying beach bars, but I haven't put them on yet. My physical therapy team swears that they can get me in tip top shape and it won't matter which bars I run. We'll see.
