Toriko, Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Special Anime Shorts Announced

"If i wasnt the most skeptical person on the planet i would believe this, but since i am, this is clearly a bunch of hocus pocus nonsense!", or something like that.

Looks like its confirmed to be a crossover between the three series of Yugioh. The plot is still unknown though. They had scans shown of the three main characters Yugi/Jaden/Yusei altogether. We are unsure if other characters will be there but we do know that the three heroes will be. I am a fan of Yugioh 5D and the original Yugioh never was a fan of GX though. I look forward to Yugis and Jadens reactions to Yusei, that should be fun. What I do wonder is if both Yugi and Jaden will travel in time to Yuseis present to defeat some evil guy. Or they'll really show Jaden and Yugi in adult forms? Guess will find out, should be airing in October, that's what I heard.

I'll be surprised if we see past characters besides Yugi and Judai. If this special is only 30 minutes like the one last year was, then there won't be much time for more than the three protagonists meeting up and then dueling the big bad guy together.

Like I hope we see Yugi's and Judai's passels of pals but I kind of doubt it.

Last year's special was just a non-canon duel between Yusei and Jack with no setup at all.

No reason at all to bring it over really.

Wow. What are the chances? Two of my favorite franchises are getting new anniversary specials that also have them meet memorable characters from the past. I love crossovers. Both of them in the same year, too! I highly look forward to watching this special. I also hope they dub it at some point. I don't care what anyone says about it, the dub of the original series will always be one of my favorite shows, regardless of edits.

I really have no interest in watching this dubbed, but I'll probably to catch the original.

Call me when LK abridges it.

Yeah, hopefully, and most likely, they'll stream it subbed like last year, so Americans don't have to wait for 4KiRAB to release a heavily edited dub-only version to watch it legally.

I agree, LK's inevitable abridged version will be the only English version I watch.

Steam what subbed? And I have high hopes for a dub of this, since it would take the form of a movie to them, and not a show, if it turns out to be that long.

Last year, Jump streamed the Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Letter Bee (the latter of which is just now getting an anime series) with English subtitles. I'm hoping and assuming they do this with this year's Yu-Gi-Oh! special, along with the other specials announced.

what time would it be on? Or, what time was the specials on last year, EST? I would assume they would need 4kiRAB approval though, but the way 4kiRAB has been lately, they would gladly allow it.

It's not on at any one time. Last time, they were online for a few months. Also, it's Jump that streamed them, and even if 4KiRAB did pick this up before it premiered, or if FUNimation did that with last year's specials, Jump owns them, so they can put the Japanese versions online all they want. It has nothing to do with any American companies.

Well, I believe that they're coming out with a Synchro Monster called Blue-Eyes Majestic Dragon (you need a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and a Tuner to summon it).

Actually, it'd be pretty cool to see a Synchro version of Dark Magician in this special.

Maybe, but if 4KiRAB raises a complaint, then Jump could put a country lockout like what US companies did when people from Europe tried to watch the US's streaming shows.

Why do I get the feeling that the Yugi in this special will still have Atem attached, will involve time travel, and at the end of the special (probably during the credits) we find out that this was the reason Yugi gave Jaden Winged Kuriboh out of nowhere in Episode 1 of GX...

True, but I think Jump's streams were mainly for the US anyway, though I don't remeraber which countries, if any, were region-blocked from watching last year's specials. Anyway, I doubt 4KiRAB will a) pick this up before its premiere and b) demand it not be shown subbed.

I figure the final duel of GX was pretty much the explanation for that.

I'm hoping for Neos to fuse with it.

Come on Dark Magic Neos...

Not too big of a fan of the original or 5RAB, but I enjoyed GX for the most part. I may check this out. Though I doubt it'll be anything other than mindless fanservice for fans in the grand scheme of things.
