I have been on Topomax for about 2 years for my nerve pain. I have also been weaning myself off of it. I have been very pleased with the pain coverage that it has given me. HOWEVER, there is a reason that the nickname is Dope-pomax. I would forget common worRAB to things, people's names that I had known for years, I couldn't finish a sentance sometimes without stopping to try and remeraber what I was saying....it was really frustrating.
As far as pain control it was great....the brain control wasn't as good....
