Top Worst Fathers in animation

What a hard-hearted statement. I have nothing but sympathy for Oscar Proud. He wasn't a bad father; simply put, the man was a Pariah. Everyone from his baby twins to his own mother treated him like dirt, no one in his house respected him, he was regularly dumped on and humiliated by nearly every other character in the show, and he was trying to make it as an entrepreneur by selling a product that no one wanted. The poor guy made Willy Loman look like Donald Trump.

But he was cheap, too overprotected, and he is also lazy. Not to metion he want to be with other women other then his wife.

He was my least favorite character thought I do feel sorry for him sometime, but there thing that he do deserve on most episode.

I do feel sorry for him sometime, but there are things he deserve in the end.

On a episode he had Penny do most of his chores including changing the car oils.
One baseball episode, he wasn't even coaching the team, he had them passing out snacks.

Because chances are that if Penny was a guy named say Paul and was dating a girl, Oscar would be supportive of the dating. Plus, the episode where she wanted to play football, he was among the many sexist guys that criticized Penny for trying to play football and join the football team. Heck, not a single male on the episode showed her support.

I'm surprised that so far no one has mentioned Dr. Venture (from The Venture Brothers). He's so neglectful to his sons that he actually let them be killed (and then cloned them several times).

You know, if you actually consider him his father, Jumba was a pretty awful father to Stitch. Bred him to be nothing but a weapon of destruction, then abandoned him, then attempted to kidnap him so he could take him apart.

...and then... he became the cuddly charming uncle jumba who helps Lilo and Stitch on their adventures.

...wait, what was up with that last part?

Dr. Venture was already mentioned on the 3rd page of this thread.

Quite possibly, one of the worst fathers ever seen in animation was Heihachi Mishima from the two-part 'Tekken' anime (1998), he was a cruel father to his son Kazuya, and in the most cruel way to prove his son's worthiness, Heihachi threw Kazuya down into a deep ravine and then left him there, instead of going down to help him.

A pretty fast transformation, but don't really care about it. Go from mean mad scientist to weird nice scientist.

If anybody remembers, Ned Flanders' parents were uncaring beatniks. No wonder he's weird.

My own choice for a terrible father is...

"drum roll and cymbals clash"

Johnny Test's dad!!!

1. He totally belongs in a mental institution in a strait-jacket.

2. Can't he make anything else besides meatloaf?!
