Top Shop New Style Bags

Just picked up my new Top shop rear fender from the painter. Turned out great will start installing it tonight.(It is only 26 degress outside santa needs to bring me a heater for the garage.) Looks like everything will line up perfect with my 3" bag!

Nice.
Post something up when installed, as the picture will be featured on the site for sure!

For the install on the 08 Tri-Light Fender!

1. Make sure that you tape the fender up with a few layers of paiters/autobody tape in the middle of the fender so not to scratch the fender upon installation.
2. Take the chrome covers off of the grab bar when installing. IF YOU DO NO YOU WILL DAMAGE THE PAINT ON THE FENDER! The front of the fender is larger in width than in the middle where the chrome covers are. Hence the reason for removal.
3. When re-installing the chrome covers you will have to turn them slightly to get them back down inbetween the fender and the grab bar. The bottom end of the chrome covers are fatter than the top which is the reason for the turning of the parts.
Follow these step and PLEASE take your time when installing. We made the fender tight so not to have any gaps for a clean looking fit.
Thanks

I'm working on it hard to finish what you start when you can't feel your fingers due to the cold. Anybody with heated garage in the cleveland area. The first night I had to remove the stock Facia and mounting hardware. After 9 bolts I was done. Last night I removed the struit covers and taillight housing, turn signal bar and whip antenna mount. I did notice you will have to jack the bike up to slide it under the grab bar. also the seat mount one the stock fender may need to be removed or the cover may catch it
Weekend is here should be able to finish her up. only wish my other parts 11were done and ready to be picked up from the painter.
