Top Shop New Style Bags

Are those 3''? It looks like they line up great.

We have done so many bags in the last 40 days and had so many happy customers. We get about 10 calls a day on bags now. So thanks to everyone that bought bags for us.

Ya they are the 3" extended. Sorry about the dark pic. It was a lot lighter in my computer's pic file. I see no issues with pin holes or the lip at the top. It shouldn't take me an hour to wet sand em and get a coat of sealer on.

I gotta say, Top Shop has outdone themselves with meeting customer demand and overall customer service. How many companies do you know that will basically custom cut your bags or anything else at production prices. Someone asked for the sloping (SE CVO SG type bagss) and presto, Top Shop offers them. Most of us were looking for a 3" bag to mate better with our Stock SG fenders, and all the bigger boys said "it's 4.5" and a new fender or nothing." Top Shop said "tell me what you want, and we'll make it."

Now I gotta say I still like the straight cut 3" backs much better than the CVO looking slanted bag, but the beauty is that most, if not all, can get what they want from Top Shop!!

Hell make a fender and give a look and I might buy one of those as soon as I can bored and find another itch to scratch on the customizing route

I've been following this from day one. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because if I spend money on the bags It'll just start an avalanche of complimentary accessories I'll have to do, and funds are running thin.

I know TexasFatboy had some issues, but in my mind he still got a great deal. Hell, that's only one guy that has had anything less than praise to say (I'm sure there are a couple more out there), and that's a pretty good ratio sattisfied/dissattisfied.

I wish I could afford to spend this $700 right now. This is a bargain and I'd love to give these guys my business. I've seen Arlen Ness bags in person (before prep) and I couldn't believe how much they cost. Kudos to Top Shop and I hope to send you business one day.

But what are the issues with dragging the 4" bags (or 4.15 or longer) when cornering on a streetglide. I mean, I do scrape my floorboards in the canyons sometimes. Will I be scraping these bags on a stock height '06 Street Glide?

I don't really have any issues with these bags. I was just stating, they needed "2 hours more prep work" than anybody else had said. I was just informing the general population about this. I didn't want some a$$hole to go all ballistic, on what seems to be a great company.

Information is why we come to HDForums, isn't it?

No one has ever said what the bags actually cost them to get painted either. I would be and I am curious. I will state what mine cost me, when mine are done, HOPFULLY TODAY. The preliminary estimate is almost $500. Upper 4s, I can't remember exactly. I'm also getting my fender struts and 4-point docking hardware painted also though.
