Top Shop New Style Bags

Has anyone changed out their leather bags from a RK Classic and put these on yet? Post some pics with the size if ya have, I have been thinking about going with hard bags for mine and Top Shops look great imo.

I'm going to send them my facia with a cardboard templete of what needs done. When finished the left side of my bike will blend in strait down to the bottom of the facia. The right side will follow the radius of the pipe and blend in with the facia. No need to do a full fender. This is all you need to do and still keep the tri-light facia

I'm with Skydoc. If TopShop lines up the bag extensions with the fascia, I'll cut the check and buy some bags. With TopShops excellent customer service as described in this thread, this would be a win-win combination.

Git 'er DUN!!!

My backrest bolts on with no problem. You can buy a bracket from them that will move the rear mounting point back about 1/4".

With a 3" extended bag you won't be able to line up with the fascia without making a ridiculous looking cut.

The answer is a new fascia....like that Milwaukee bagger deal but then you still have an ugly taillight, ugly turn signals, ugly license plate etc.

After giving it some thought I am going with a fender...smooth and clean with frenched in lights and plate.

DITTO. I was skeptical at first of Top Shops bags but it looks like from the postings everyone is pretty happy so that is good news. They line up their bags with the original Street Glide fascia and I believe I'll become a customer myself.

Guys.....with a 3" bag you will NOT be able to line up to the stock fascia without an absolutely HORRIBLE looking cut.

It won't happen.....have at it with photoshop and see for yourself. It would be STUPID looking. The fascia needs to be changed OR you need to stick to a 2" bag. The GAP going up around the pipe would be immense in my opinion from looking at my own bike.
