Top Shop New Style Bags

Hey! That's my bike with that terrible look!

Seriously, it has a legend Air Ride System on it and it is lowered in the photo. You can't ride it that way. I raise it up to the stock height of a Road King Custom (which it is) to ride it. I still get some occasional scraping; but I have full metal skid plates on the bottoms to protect the bags. Still if I were to do it over again I would go with 3-3.5" bags for rideability, on a bike with a 1" lowered rear such as the Street Glide or Road King Custom. I would not do it just for looks. I think these look just fine with that fender and I get a lot of compliments on it. 3-3.5" bags were not available when I put these on. They are the early Arlen Ness Big Bags and the quality is nowhere near what is available now. I spent a lot of money re working the outer surfaces to get a smooth surface to paint and the insides are just plain ugly with a chopped glass surface. I had to line the insides just to hide the chopped glass.

We have something in the mix with a fender and as for the monster ovals, they can be done but you won't have much of an xtention left.... But with the smaller cuts it may look and function fine.

Just got the bags, look outstanding!!! This is for a Ultra that will be going under a little "conversion" Now, my Jackpot pipes are too short, got to figure out something or find longer pipes, dont want to melt the nice new bags. Got to get rid of the bag rails and wait for Baddad to get a set of docking hardware made for the 09 frame and I can complete my back end. Bike is up on the stand waiting for me to put new Wild1 577's on. Wont be able to get pics for a couple of days, I am sure others will beat me to the pic uploads. Thanks again for the great service and top quality product!!!!
