I honestly think pumping the "junk" material down first would have been a better option. That may have helped 'clot' the holes up first.
 
they should get nasa on this shit. i dont care what people say, nasa has some of the smartest people in the world working for them. even if they don't have the equipment/experience i'm sure they can figure this shit out. bp is pretty much trying the "...ehhh hopefully this will work" solution.
 
I see...is it just mud and salt water? Sorry, I'm just curious as to how it works.
 
Build a massive remediation station that filters the entire gulf and atlantic.
 
How long before Obama lifts his "ban" on new drilling? We need to start taking bets on that date. IMO it won't be long.

hmmmm....seems like they could cut the pipe off at the first leak, thread in new smaller pipe to where they cut the pipe, have a auto cut off installed on the new pipe, flick the shut off on very slow, flow is stopped!!!!
 
They MADE us where them for Shell. We couldn't get on their land without the stickers. I have a picture of what we had to wear.
