'Top kill' fails, BP moves on 'to next option'

Are you honestly that shocked? I'd have rather seen one solution executed in the last month that actually worked than 5 that failed miserably and clearly were not going to work but were just done to appease politicians and the masses
 
I get that, but they have some of the top engineers in the field. How long has this been going on now?

You go where the oil is. Where exactly do you think all the offshore oil is? Like onshore oil, it's in the crust.
 
Those fuckers need to start buying absorbant booms instead of pretending there's a shortage.

Top Kill was just bp trying to look good and doing something it was never designed to work. Its made to use on a surface level
