LOL @ that nonsense. It's just people that are jealous that they aren't getting any royalty checks. I run into that all the time up here. People refuse or get all pissy about giving pipeline ROWs when the guy next door is getting a well and they aren't. Often times I will say "well if we can move the well to your property, would you mind pipelines on your property?" They always say "oh well if THAT was the case.... then yeah I wouldn't mind them"

Nothing more than jealousy, no real valid reason to be upset.
