'Top kill' fails, BP moves on 'to next option'

Mainly because the number of offshore rigs past 1000ft deep is only 14. I would say 1/15 failing and causing a catastrophic event is pretty fucked up. Its also one of those things where how do you test for something thats 5000ft deep?
 
Maybe they should have invented fucking things to stop shit like this in case of emergency before lining their pockets in cash and not worrying about shit.

One of the oil guys in another thread said that the blowout had so much pressure that the BOP wouldn't have worked regardless.


However, they were taking shortcuts to speed up capping the well which apparently is what caused it.
 
what if the testing was dead on?

Yes Drill Baby Drill but dont drill 5000 fucking feet underwater and you wont have an issue
