your observations would be correct in that this year more of the "indie" community has more of a hard-on for electronic artists such as Justice and Daft Punk but I guarantee you if those two released their respective albums in 2006 they would be getting as much or near just as much hype.

as someone else mentioned, you can't really compare MSTRKRFT with Daft Punk at all and Justice released a hell of an album, but with a boatload of surrounding hype that MSTRKRFT didn't quite have. oh, and UNKLE kinda blows.

what I was getting at with MY original comment is that 'electronic music is the fad of this year' is wayyyyy too vague of a statement (and sounRAB a bit ignorant tbh sorry), considering how freakin diverse the genre is.
